WANNA BEE MOVIE STAR BANKERT GETS SACKED IN A FOOTBALL STORY
I participated in the Lyon Productions Open Casting Call for the feature film Minor League, a football story.
It was held at the All Stars Sports Bar and Grill on Dort Hwy, Flint MI.
The audition was held in a speedy manner and was a cold read.
Participating also were Johnny Burk and Michael J. Thorp and hundreds.
There were some very serious "try outs" but most people like me were just there for the experience.

So what did I learn from this experience.
1.In a cold read you have to bubble up emotions that convey a feeling fast and on demand. I need a slower warm up and am trained not to be uncivil or go over the top , they wanted over the top in this casting call. But our body conveys messages, actgors have to be in tune with that by training. I am going to work in front of my camera to see what the judge sees.
2.The serious tryouts who have had paid roles before said shooting a movie is boring and” hurry up and wait like” the casting call. 3.Some in the crowd need work and hope.
4. Thank You Governor Granholm for creating the economic incentives to bring movies to Michigan.
To my fans it looks like my job in movies will be buying tickets and pop corn.
