The Stylistics were one of the best-known Philadelphia soul groups of the 1970s. They formed in 1968, and were composed of lead Russell Thompkins, Jr., Herbie Murrell, Airrion Love, James Smith, and James Dunn. All of their US hits were ballads, graced by the soaring falsetto of Russell Thompkins, Jr. and the lush productions of Thom Bell, which helped make the Stylistics one of the most successful soul groups of the first half of the 1970s."[1] During the early 1970s, the band had twelve consecutive U.S. R&B top ten hits, including "Stop, Look, Listen (To Your Heart)", "You Are Everything", "Betcha by Golly, Wow", "I'm Stone in Love with You", "Break Up to Make Up", and "You Make Me Feel Brand New".[1]
THE DRAMATICS
The Dramatics (formerly The Dynamics) are an American soul music vocal group, formed in Detroit, Michigan in 1962. They are best known for their 1970s hit songs "In the Rain" and "Whatcha See is Whatcha Get", both of which were #1 R&B and Top 10 Pop hits.[1]
Lenny Williams (born Leonard Charles Williams, February 16, 1945, Little Rock, Arkansas [1] is an American singer known for his work in the R&B and soul music genres. During the 1970s, he was the lead vocalist for Tower of Power. As a soloist, he made several hit recordings, including 1977's Choosing You and 1978's mega hit Cause I Love You.

THIS IS ALSO A TRIBUTE HONORING,
FLINT NATIVE AND WORLD FAMOUS PAINTER "LAVARNE ROSS"
Born and raised in Flint, Michigan, Lavarne Ross is a largely self-taught artist. At a young age, he drew pictures of the horses on his grandfather's Arkansas farm. Much of his inspiration comes from a desire to capture the changes in both his hometown of Flint and rural Arkansas.
Ross' most recognizable works are the pieces in his “Dancer” series, in which he conveys the motion of the dance through the flowing garments of the figures. Ross also shows his appreciation for jazz in works where he gives a visual interpretation of the music. Ross continually works to communicate his heritage and vision through his paintings.
