What is happening in the Occupy movement. Using Google news searching "Occupy" the following surfaced.  Occupy Protesters  went to Oakland City Hall. They stormed the Mayors  office and demand an audience. I recall that Occupy Flint went to or invaded Flint Mayor Wallings office last week. What was the out come of that? Was this covered by the media? Did the Occupy media self report? I recall that Walling when he had power came to Occupy Flint with the Police Chief and was very supportive. Why fill his office? What was the result?

The Occupy movement is a push back protest against economic and social injustice. They began protesting economic advantages give to Wall Street, Big Business, anf Big Banks. OWS encouraged local issues and other social injustice.  The Zuccotti Parks statement gave some direction. Protesters and the community looking on are eager to see an  intensifying focus, coalition building to pressure and cause change in public policy, local, state and national. So just what is OF doing? Looking back what will the success be?
  • I Think what is needed is a sustained economic protest addressing a few core concepts but executed is various ways.....CORE CONCEPT... 1.They have taken our houses through an illegal foreclosure process, despite not having the original mortgage. --Occupy Movement Supports this Zuccotti Park Statement by the General assembly of Occupy Wall Street 10/2011....I suggest this core concept which fits with our original focus on BOA....Needed are core hours of protest under the BOA sign. Those that protest 3 hours get to hang out in the camp I will gladly wait on them. What is needed from the interneters are templates for protest action used by other occupy, bring them to us. What is needed from the media committee is self reporting to let our own people know what we are doing. One or more work groups with real leadership are needed to cause this to happen. Your thoughts/commitments...[ Terry Bankert 01/06/2012]
