* * * * * REFLECTIONS:
Hey are you ready for this...are you sitting on the edge of your seat...TWO DOWN and McCain to go....
*******
MCCAIN YOUR NEXT.....BAD LEADERS AND POOR DECISIONS..NO MORE The Pakistan rupee weakened on Wednesday as investors turned their focus to Pakistan's sickly economy amid growing uncertainty the coalition government can rule effectively after President Pervez Musharraf resigned. [1]

BUSH MUST PROECT HIS BUDDIES The United States will consider providing former Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf with asylum if he asks, State Department spokesman Robert Wood said here Tuesday. [4]

POLITICAL DISRUPTION CREATES VOTER UNCERTAINTY Our future is uncertain and scary. Without him we will fear for our safety because the politicians who have been in power for the past few months do not inspire any confidence when it comes to our security.[3] But Pakistan is facing many problems at the moment because of him and the economy is declining day-by-day because of his wrong policies.[3]

BLAIR HAD A PARLIAMENT, MUSHARRAF HIS DICTATORSHIP BUT WERE GOT OUR QUEEN Are you ready, hey, are you ready for this Are you hangin' on the edge of your seat Out of the doorway the bullets rip To the sound of the beat - yeah[2]

FIRST WE GOT BLAIR THEN MUSHARRAF...WHO ELSE SUPPORTED BUSH?..OH YEA MCCAIN Another one bites the dust Another one bites the dust And another one gone and another one gone Another one bites the dust, ehHey, I'm gonna get you too Another one bites the dust[2] Pakistan's former leader Pervez Musharraf resigned yesterday in an emotional address to the nation ahead of impeachment proceedings brought by the country's newly-resurgent Parliament. Musharraf dominated Pakistani politics for almost a decade and strode the world stage as one of the U.S.'s chief regional allies in the war against terrorism. However the euphoria expressed at the ousting of the one time strongman was tempered with the knowledge that Islamabad is likely to face a protracted power struggle to fill the vacuum.[4]

WHEN THE LEADER FALLS THE COUNTRY SUFFERS The rupee ended trade at 74.80/90, compared to Tuesday's close of around 74.53/60. The currency has lost over a fifth of its value against the dollar this year. [1] One of the reasons for the collapse of Musharraf's reputation was a failing economy, battered by capital flight, rapidly falling foreign-exchange reserves and soaring inflation, now at 21 per cent. People struggle to pay for flour and fuel. The entire country suffers from prolonged power failures, which, according to the International Monetary Fund, can be attributed largely to the failure of the Musharraf government to build power plants.[4] How do you think I'm going to get along Without you when you're gone You took me for everything that I had And kicked me out on my own[2]

WASTED DISTRACTION THAT HURTS THREE WARRIOR'S NATION ECONOMIES Investors said the deadlock between the two main coalition parties over the restoration of deposed judges was dashing hopes the government will focus on reviving Pakistan's economy and not be distracted by politics after Musharraf's resignation. [1] Pakistan's ruling coalition parties on Aug. 7 announced that they would launch an impeachment against the president. The speculation about Musharraf's resignation has mounted since then. [5] "The political situation is not helping the foreign exchange market," said a trader who declined to be named. "The underlying economy is not great either." [1] Are you happy ? Are you satisfied ? How long can you stand the heat Out of the doorway the bullets rip To the sound of the beat

OTHERS TASKED WITH REBUILDING THE MESS THESE 3 MUSKETEERS MADE, NO MERCY FOR THEIR MINIONS "Unless you get a balance of payments solution, I don't see anything else but further weakening for the rupee ahead," he said. [1] After six years of healthy growth under Musharraf's rule, Pakistan's economy is struggling with widening trade and fiscal deficits, soaring inflation, and falling foreign exchange reserves depleted by high oil prices. [1] Another one bites the dust Another one bites the dust And another one gone and another one gone Another one bites the dust, eh Hey, I'm gonna get you too Another one bites the dust[2]

PEOPLE ARE RESILIENT AND WILL PROSPER UNDER NEW LEADERSHIP..GO OBAMA Pakistan's central bank is set to announce later this week the size of the country's current account deficit in July. [1] Pakistan's stocks also fell more over 3 percent on Wednesday as investors began to lose hope for an end to political tension. [1] The two coalition parties are squabbling over whether to restore the judges ousted by Musharraf last year. [1] Hey Another one bites the dust Another one bites the dust, ow Another one bites the dust, hey hey Another one bites the dust, heeey Ooh show down[2] At the Iraq war corral[trb] In the money market, Pakistan's short-term money rates were flat on Wednesday as liquidity in the market stayed tight, traders said. [1] They said the next inflow of funds into the market was due on August 27 when the central bank settles an auction of 67.5 billion rupees ($902.3 million) worth of Treasury bills. [1]

BATTERED WAR PROTESTORS ARE RETURNING..WITH VENGENCE You can treat him bad and leave him When he's down, yeah But I'm ready, yes I'm ready for you I'm standing on my own two feet Out of the doorway the bullets rip Repeating to the sound of the beat Oh yeah[2]

THREE COUNTRIES WILL REBUILD...BENT BUT NOT BROKEN..GET THE TROOPS OUT... Overnight call rates ended at 12.9 percent, unchanged from the previous closing level, two traders said[1]jUST WHAT IS THE PRICE OF GAS TODAY?[TRB] Another one bites the dust Another one bites the dust And another one gone and another one gone Another one bites the dust, yeah Hey, I'm gonna get you too Another one bites the dust
